Even you can learn how to be a great gardener. You can grow a fantastic garden even if you have never grown a plant before in your life: you just need to be willing to put some time and effort into learning the trade. There are a lot of people who are sure that they can't grow plants because they have yet to grow flowers and vegetable successfully. The reality of gardening is that it takes far more work than most realize. Most new gardeners fail because they assume that all plants are alike when the truth is that every plant has its own special needs. The following are a few hints that you can use to help increase your garden's success. If you want to grow a variety of plants put a schedule together and tmake sure you follow it. Write down just how often each plant needs to be watered. Write down exactly when you plan on adding nutrients to the soil of each of your plants. Put everything into your planner or on your calendar and then check that calendar every day to find out what you need to do. You could even schedule weedings! Planning everything out ahead of time will help you make sure that your garden thrives. If you haven't ever grown a garden before, keeping the details on a calendar can help you make sure that you don't miss anything. Bees are your friends! You might not be thrilled to have them around your person, but bees are a godsend to a garden! Bees are how pollen gets spread around your garden (which helps the plants grow). Pollen is needed for plants to flower or bear fruit. This means that you need to get over your fear of bees. In fact, you might even think about doing whatever you can to attract the bees to your garden! Bees seem to be very attracted to tomatillo plants so plant a few of these around your garden to make it more inviting for bees. The only problem with planting tomatillo plants is if your family likes to eat them; if this is the case, plant one plant for the bees in one area of your garden and plant another in a different area of your garden. Instead of pesticides use aphids. Pesticides are awful for your plants and the environment. For people who are growing spices, herbs, veggies or fruit pesticides are a terrible idea. Use ladybugs in your garden instead of pesticides-they are great for keeping your garden free of plant consuming pests. Using ladybugs is a good idea because they don't eat plants, they eat the pests who eat your plants. Pest eaters like ladybugs are fantastic for gardens. They are far more environmentally friendly. You don't have to worry about accidentally eating them. They help you keep the pests away from your garden! Many new gardeners are intimidated by the process. Anybody can learn how to be a gardener! Don't let yourself get intimidated by the photos you see in gardening magazines or displayed on television shows. The truth is that, with enough patience and hard work, anybody can learn how to grow beautiful gardens. Even if you haven't ever had good luck with planting and gardening before you could learn how to be a champion gardener over the course of just a few planting seasons. Have fun! You'll get there eventually!
